p.m. feist lives and works in bushwick, brooklyn. he is an artist, craftsman, musician, visual merchandiser, naturalist and collector of beautiful old trash. he can often be spotted in his natural environment, foraging in the woods.
p.m. creates art as an examination of nature, its beauty often overlooked, and its general absence in the urban environment. he often incorporates collected nature specimens with found objects to form sculptural assemblages.
his current project is a furniture recycling program. he searches for outdated, unappealing furniture and recreates each piece to make it unique, appealing and relevant. his dual mission in this project is to reduce waste in landfills and offer affordable, unique furniture to the public.
